You Want Trump? I'll Give You Trump.

Nothin' funny about Trump.

I don't necessarily think this particular example should be put on Trump. I think for the purposes of his campaigning strategy he is told not to disagree with any of his supporters, but that doesn't mean he agrees with that guy. If he did, he would have explicitly stated so. However, with that being said, I think the point you're trying to get at is what Trump has created, which is a mob of horrible people with horrible ideas who now all believe that they're on the correct side. But I'm not saying either that the mob represents all Trump supporters. If you look closely, you can see some people shaking their heads in the background.

I don't want it to sound like I'm defending Trump, I'm just attempting to be nuanced. But that's difficult to do with someone like Trump.

Well put! (Though I don't think anybody TELLS Trump to do anything. He does what he wants.)

In the 2008 campaign, when a doddering old lady in a McCain rally audience said Obama was an Arab, McCain corrected her. He wanted to keep his campaign on a higher plain than that.

But that's so Old School! Trump's ethics are much easier: In response to criticism about his response to the guy, Trump tweeted: "Am I morally obligated to defend the president every time somebody says something bad or controversial about him? I don't think so!"

The audience guy was spewing fear and hatred of Muslims. In another time and place, it would have been hatred of Jews, or Blacks, or Catholics.

What kind of country do we want?

Right. He's basically a fascist, no exaggeration.
