I thought Kathleen Parker had a good column about Iran today.....it was in our newspaper today, anyway.
I eagerly await each new Cohen column. Not only is he there, on the ground, his writing is fantastic. I'm honestly shocked (in a good way) that he's still there. I can't believe the Iranian government (thugocracy, as some have been calling it) hasn't found him and deported/arrested him.
And the best part about watching CNN this past weekend was that their (largely uninspired) coverage of Iran managed to be about as defensive as a news program can be. I couldn't count the number of times they talked about their being ordered not to report anything from Tehran.
The Economist ran a sidebar article entitled "Twitter 1 CNN 0" in their latest issue. Think they were aware of that? Judging by the defensiveness, I'm going to go with "yes".
