Mainstream Culture
It seems MTV is very concerned about their new hit show, "Skins". Why? Because they're afraid it may violate child pornography laws. Imagine that. How far we've come. Thanks, Hollywood, for your sense of social responsibility.
The NY Times has the story here.
Takeaway quote: “There are times when I look at mainstream culture and think it is skirting up against the edge of child pornography law.”
That's about right.
[Note to Em, Ted, Kris, and Chip: Yes, this post is ironic. Ha, ha.]

Hahaha.
Perhaps they should just boot this one off the air. :)
My favorite line from the article is "MTV noted that the episodes were being shown only at or after 10 p.m. Eastern,"
This will certainly help as I know that my teenagers are never watching TV after 9 Central, and don't even know how to operate the DVR. Thank you, MTV.
