I'm getting a little tired of liberals trashing Obama. They're not paying attention. Rachel Maddow gets on to that (via Andrew Tobias):

That's not too bad for a year and a half in office, with the world's economy falling down around us.

I'm with ya there. Liberal activists have a responsibility to lean on the president to make sure he's doing as much as possible, and staying as close to their values as possible. But many liberals have shot way past that.
He's accomplished a lot. I don't in any way regret my support for him. Let's keep that in mind, but let's not totally let him go without criticism. I, for one, plan to continue hitting him on civil liberties. That doesn't mean I don't appreciate all he's done, but a little pressure is just a great part of democracy. Just someone tell Jane Hamsher to tone it down a bit.
