Trying to Keep an Open Mind
I'm trying to keep an open mind about this. Things are different in Alaska.
But the standard determinant for paying travel and per diem is that the travel is "in the best interests of the public." I'm having a hard time understanding how Palin's husband tagging along to a governors' conference is in the best interests of the public. I'm having a hard time understanding how anybody should get per diem when spending the night at home.
But that's what happened. Some reformer!
