Just Wondering
Why is it that the people who are most excited about American Exceptionalism are usually people who have no problem with torture, as long as it's done by Americans?
I guess that's one area where we're no longer an exception.
Because America is SO exceptional that it's ok for us to torture, because we're the exception to the rule that torture is bad. We're torturing for the right reasons! It's necessary for us to torture in order for America to remain exceptional!
I'm going to go drown myself in turkey and stuffing now.
